Check at the entrance and go to your seat

If there is a line, join the end of it. At stores with a reception terminal or a paper for writing your name, check the instructions on the screen or the staff's explanation. At stores with a meal-ticket machine at the entrance, you may need to buy a meal ticket first.

At stores where staff seat you, wait to be guided. If you're told "please sit anywhere you like," choose an empty seat.

Ordering

The method differs by store — telling the staff directly, using a tabletop terminal, or ordering via a QR code. If you're not sure, it's fine to order by pointing at the menu.

Receiving your food

At some stores your food is brought to your seat, while at others you're called by a number and pick it up yourself. Some stores also have you get your own water or tableware.

Check how to pay and leave the store

Some stores you pay at your seat, some you pay at the register, and some you pay in advance when ordering. If there is a receipt/slip, take it to the register.

Check that you haven't left anything behind before leaving the store. Some stores accept cash only, so also check the payment-method signage.
